We are a growing Canadian company based in Shebrooke, Quebec. Agri-Can manufactures and distributes agricultural and industrial parts to OEMs, factories, retailers, agricultural dealers and stores across Canada and the USA. We offer quality, guaranteed products, many of which bear the Agri-Can brand. Our parts and accessories are all designed to withstand the harsh northern winters and the heat of the southern United States.

Location: Eastern Townships - Work office at the head office in Sherbrooke as needed

Number of anticipated positions: 1

Beginning: Aims to meet immediate needs

Main tasks:

·       Meet OEMs, factories, agricultural dealers, stores and distributors of agricultural and industrial parts.

·       Sign new contracts with retailers.

·       Carry out frequent follow-ups with corporate clients to keep their inventory up to date.

·       Answer telephone calls from corporate and retail customers in the assigned sector.

·       No retail sales or solicitations from end-users such as farms;

·       Process requests and orders received by email by simply completing the electronic invoice and then assigning it to the order desk in the system. The remainder of the shipping process will then be continued by the team in the office.

·       Provide advice and information on our products

·       Availability of order desk to assist with products or orders.

·       Work closely with the order office.

 

The choice of candidate will be established based on one or more of the following criteria: 

·        Knowledge of the agricultural environment

·        Knowledge of the industrial environment

·        The ability to work in a team

·        Professionalism

·        Excellent verbal and written communication

·        To show initiative

·        Excellent command of oral and written French (Essential)

·        Has a car in good order

·        Disciplined and organized

 

Asset :

·        Experienced representative with an established clientele

·        Experience as a parts clerk

·        Experience as an agricultural mechanic

·        Experience in agricultural and/or industrial parts

·        Experience as a company representative in a related market

 

 

Schedule:

·       Schedule established by the person in order to meet their business customers during normal operating hours. The precise schedule is at the discretion of the individual as long as the results are measurable. 

Remuneration:

·        Very attractive commissions with no cap

·       Possibility of an expense account for remote areas as part of a program approved by management. 

 

Position conditions:

·        Since the Agri-Can representative comes to the company, the person occupying the position must be able to speak and write very well in French. Written and spoken English are an asset.

·        Agri-Can works in research and development of parts for individual customers. Given the databases used in the course of his/her duties as well as the conditions of our company's government contracts, the candidate must provide a police certificate to demonstrate that he/she does not have 'criminal record. The certificate can only be presented during the interview, if applicable.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Eastern Townships - Head office in Sherbrooke

Number of anticipated positions: 1

Beginning: June 1, 2024 – To be determined

Main tasks:

  • Process the orders assigned to it in the system.
  • Place orders in boxes or on pallets.
  • Proceed with booking the carrier.
  • Print shipping documents.
  • Receive purchase orders.
  • Affix barcodes to all products upon arrival.
  • Boxing of products intended for retailers.
  • Take inventory upon request.
  • Monitor inventory.
  • Complete purchase vouchers and submit them to the purchasing manager.
  • Track shipments in the system and update their status.
  • Work closely with the order office.
  • All other related tasks.

The choice of candidate will be established based on one or more of the following criteria: 

  • Experience as a shipping/receiving clerk.
  • The ability to work in a team.
  • Professionalism.
  • Verbal and written communication.
  • Autonomy.
  • To show initiative.

Asset :

  • Experience as an agricultural mechanic
  • Experience in agricultural and/or industrial parts
  • Bilingual French/English

Schedule:

  • Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week
  • Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Paid non-working holidays

Remuneration:

  • Base salary of $16/hour (Depending on experience);
  • Annual salary increase;
  • Annual bonus based on the overall performance of the company.

Position conditions:

  • French speaking and writting
  • Have a valid forklift driver certificate;
  • Be in excellent physical shape;
  • Be able to lift more or less heavy loads;
  • Punctuality, sense of organization and responsibility as well as speed of execution are essential;
  • Be comfortable with a computer and ready to learn the use of order and inventory management systems;
  • Be very rigorous on inventory and automation procedures to ensure inventory accuracy at all times in the systems;
  • Agri-Can works in research and development of parts for individual customers. Given the databases used in the course of his/her duties as well as the conditions of government contracts awarded to the company, the candidate must provide a police certificate to demonstrate that he/she has not no criminal record. The certificate can only be presented during the interview, if applicable.
